Bringing the Good Ol’ PB&J to New Heights!
The classic, oh-so -good, peanut butter and jelly sandwich gets even more satisfying with this recipe for a Triple Decker PB&J.  It’s the added layer sure to fill up a hungry teen at lunchtime or anyone looking to indulge in this childhood favorite.

To spice up the Triple Decker, try it on Rockland Bakery’s whole wheat bread, Hudson Bakery’s  rye bread or Eli Bakery’s cinnamon raisin bread; fresh, toasted, or even grilled!  You can stick with the traditional creamy peanut butter and grape jelly or kick it up with the chunky style spread and either strawberry or raspberry preserve.
You’re never too old for PB&J – so go ahead, stack it up!

Triple Decker PB&J Recipe

You will need:
3 pieces of your favorite bread
Peanut butter and jelly of your choosing
Butter knife

Step 1: Spread peanut butter on one side of two pieces of bread.
Step 2: Spread jelly on one side of the third piece.
Step 3: Place the third piece jelly side down on one of the peanut butter slices.
Step 4: Put the other peanut butter bread slice on top.

Voila! A Triple Decker PB&J that won’t become soggy.  Cut as desired and enjoy.

Pumped Up & Stuffed French Toast
French toast is always a crowd pleaser; but this Pumped Up & Stuffed French Toast recipe is sure to have your guests’ mouths watering and coming back for more.  With its thick slices of grilled bread layered with cream cheese filling and piled with fresh fruit, ice cream and syrup – guests will certainly leave “stuffed” and satisfied.  
What you need (makes 2 servings)

2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups cream cheese
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/2 cup medium-diced banana
1/8 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl until mixed.
Keep refrigerated until ready to use.

Fold all ingredients together in a bowl until mixed but not completely smooth.

French Toast:
Recommended Breads:  Hudson Bakery’s Sourdough,  Rockland Bakery’s Challah or Eli Bakery’s Brioche sliced 2 inches thick
Soak bread in batter and place in heated pan with melted butter.
Cook both sides for approximately 2 minutes until golden brown.
Remove slices from pan and let cool.
Top 2 slices with filling and add the remaining slices on top making 2 stuffed French toast servings.
Bake stuffed French toast in the oven for 8 minutes.
To complete this delectable Pumped Up & Stuffed French Toast dish, serve with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream, an assortment of fresh berries and plenty of the maple syrup.
